June 28, 20196 yr comment_485520 hello all, i've just moved into a new property which has a chubb alarm installed. Chubb will not provide me with the code without signing up to a contract. The panel looks exactly the same as the pyronix enforcer but with a chubb logo on. My question is, can i just swap this panel with a new pyronix enforcer panel or is there a better way. Thanks for your help Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/42894-mr/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 June 28, 20196 yr comment_485521 They will/should default it for a call out fee, no company will disclose their engineering codes for obvious reasons. Alternatively post your location and someone on here may be able to offer a service/default. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool. June 28, 20196 yr Author comment_485522 thanks norman, I will give them a call and let you know what they say, I think maybe they were trying it on asking for a new contract Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/42894-mr/#findComment-485522 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 June 29, 20196 yr comment_485563 Be prepared for a non contracted rate though if you do use them, personally I'd go the independent route. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
