Al H
Good morning all Advise please. Wiring a Viper GLX shock sensor 8 wire to a Texecom Premier Elite 24. I am using EOL wiring in the zones. I assume I wire in the 4K7 & 2k2 resistors as I have on PIR’s. However Terminal 7 the set input to remotely control the LED and terminal 8 first to alarm. How should I wire these and were do I connect on the panel? There is also a resistor that comes with the Viper, what about this? Thank you Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/42834-viper-wiring-to-texecom-panel/ Share on other sites
james.wilson
fta and set are only needed if connecting more than 1 device per circuit. the set connects to an output programmed as that and fta links the vipers together as per the manual securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. sixwheeledbeast
I personally still connect the set even if you only use one, it's good to see if the device has been activated even if unset. As above FTA is a stand alone bus that doesn't go back to the controls. You will likely need to invert any outputs as PE24 only has -ve sinking. sixwheeledbeast
Digi Output 7 is most likely already setup for your needs, you may just have to invert it in the output menu.
