Kenco222
Can anyone help? i changed the battery in my garage sensor and the system will not reset. i have both the user and engineer codes. keeps saying ’can’t set! Eng. anti 4814’ & ‘garage T!’ I thought there might have been an issue with the tamper resting, but I can hear the micro switch make, and even tried it by taping the micro switch close with the sensor cover removed. Frustrating!!! Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/42415-gardtec-490x-tamper-reset/ Share on other sites

Kenco222
Really? i understand it can be reset by the use of the master code. Kenco222
I presume it is asking for the eng code as that is what has been set for a reset such as tamper. i feel the tamper is faulty Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/42415-gardtec-490x-tamper-reset/#findComment-479543 Share on other sites

But above you said you have the engineer code? So what's issue then , or you mean you have user and master code not engineer code Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/42415-gardtec-490x-tamper-reset/#findComment-479552 Share on other sites
