Powermax Complete F-01 BATTERY LOW

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

My Powermax is showing "F-01 BATTERY LOW" - for some reason Powermax don't seem to include a list of codes so I'm not sure what F-01 refers to. Google hasn't really helped although I did see one suggestion that the "F" stands for "Fob."

So is this telling me that my keyfob battery is low? Because I thought that was indicated by the light on the fob itself flashing (according to the documentation). Nowhere in the installation or user manual does it mention the panel itself displaying a message relating to Keyfob battery.

Any advice?

Thanks

How old is the fob? Everything indicates that its the fob. Maybe buy a battery for fob one and replace it perhaps ?

Flashing when pressed BTW

Keyfob battery number 1.

When was the last time you had any of the batteries replaced? It is a wireless system so all the equipment has batteries that need replacing regularly.

If you replace the battery as it's one way it will not update the system and clear the fault. You will have to arm/disarm the system with the keyfob to clear it.
