I am a Product Manager at Eaton who now own Scantronic and Menvier.  Looking forward to learning how we can make our products better for our customers.

I'm a Scantronic user, but very disillusioned with the wireless currently.

 

AFAIK iOn has been 2-way capable since launch, which I think was 2009?

 

So when can we expect 2 way wireless door contacts, PIRs and vibration sensors?

 

 

Ah, you're the guy who still buys them!

However a politely treated yet later defunct company doesn't help anyone...

 

There really seems no excuse for not having 2 way wireless; that said I like them as wired panels and think the new app is great (but will it come to the higher models...? Suspect not as any site with 40+ zones will be 'properly' monitored I suppose.

That said SPC does this well with the option for easy, yet secure engineer access via the web but top notch signalling options also available.

 

Anyway, will reply properly to DM tomorrow Dave.

Which exact models were 'mosaic' - is that the 808, 816 etc...? Had an 816 at parents old house, yeah funny bit of kit but seemed OK. Admittedly only bells no UDL attempted etc...

Hated the Mosaic.
