October 26, 20178 yr comment_470294 Presumably the market doesn't demand it quite so strongly? So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41677-texecom-opinions/page/2/#findComment-470294 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 October 26, 20178 yr comment_470296 Can honestly say I've had very little problems with Texe kit, I only ever fit elite panels though, never had a psu go wrong. October 26, 20178 yr comment_470300 Just now, Ashton said: timing out of engineers whilst I'm trying to adjust dt detectors then going off on tamper atleast on a galaxy, menvier etc I can just login to engineers and plod on happily without worrying That's a feature, if you have to do anything longer then the default 60 minutes then leave the end station open. It's better than getting a call at 1700 that an engineers been done a service and left the panel in engineers. October 26, 20178 yr Author comment_470303 sorry about that I'll take it out next service just having a see what people's opinions are on different kit really every engineer will agree they have their own 'preferred panels' etc pros and cons Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41677-texecom-opinions/page/2/#findComment-470303 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 October 26, 20178 yr Author comment_470305 Could they not have something in the software atleast then so if it sees any active tamper whilst in engineers it resets the 60 minute timer or just doesn't exit at all if a device is in tamper condition so it's not just limited to the end station being left open Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41677-texecom-opinions/page/2/#findComment-470305 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 October 26, 20178 yr comment_470306 When the timer expires (which can be adjusted BTW) the panel will check for tampers and stay in engineers if any active tamper is open. All these "glitches" I here about must be features then.
