When we bought our mutt one of the things the woman made a big thing about was if he was going to be left alone, not sure how true but she said she wouldn't let any go to homes where they would be left in all day.

 

I know we could have lied but he goes to the fil when we are @ work and he takes him running so it's win win, he's knackered when we collect him.

To be honest our two enjoy each others company so much you often wouldn't know they were in the same house until I take the leads off the hooks.

Whippets don't really do a lot when they're not being walked!

 

None of the charities that I'm aware of let dogs go to homes where people are out all day.
