Can you get pet friendly PIRs for this system?

you can but pet sensors imo are rarely ideal. Your asking a movement sensor to ignore movement

 

Dont take any notice of James he is living in the dark ages what type of pets have you got?

 

It's for a friend who have just moved into a house with this alarm in they have cats?

also Pete they want to change the user code, are the steps to change it the same as the 350?

Cats are a little worse than dogs as they can climb up on stuff, Bosch Blueline Dual Tech are the best dont point them anywhere where te animal can get within 6ft of the detector and read the instructions. I havent done any intruder engineering for years now, so I wouldnt really be able to assist with the codes I would be okay if it was a later panel but not the older ones. You have the user manual though so it should be straight forward enough if you follow the instructions

Thanks for the reply Pete, sadly the person who they bought the house from didn't leave the manual just the bit of card on how to turn the system on and off, can you download the manual anywhere? thanks for the advice on the PIRs as well much appreciated.
