ceemc
Hi Looking for some help or guidance. I recently inherited a number of Domonial CMI800++, as part of utility installation. The company has been using remote key fobs, TC805HF. One key fob has expired and needs to be replaced. As the TC805HF seems to be no longer available, I have procured a TCC8M to replace it. When I installed these systems, a long time ago, I used to register all of the devices using the TCM unit. Despite repeated attempts yesterday, the new key fob will not register, although, when I do an RF scan it picks it up. I have tried to link using the Honeywell software, but having comms problems, possibly caused by Windows 7. Has anyone had similar issues and if so, how did they manage to register the new key fob? Any help appreciated. Thanks Martyn
al-yeti
I think you need to change its protocol to v2 ?

ceemc
Why would it pick up the new fob when carrying out an RF scan if it was to be V1? according the remote supplier, they sadi it replaced the TC805HF unit and looking at the data from Honeywell, this seems to be the case. Is this worng? Thanks
al-yeti
When you say picks up the fob , how do you know it's picked up?
ceemc
You can see the serial number of the fob on the TCU when you carry out an RF scan
