Signals To Be Sent For A G2 Or G3

Featured Replies

Could somebody clarify what signals need to be sent to arc for the various systems.

Obviously pa, if fitted, intruder, open close, power fail, zone exclude and confirmed. From what I can see the only difference between 2 and 3 is that on 2 tamper can be signalled as intruder where as 3 it has to go as tamper and then fault.

Can someone provide clarification.

cheers

if you use extended format and send everything you dont need to worry, send sia 3 and send the lot

Galaxy are brilliant on SIA 3, not so sold on texe though it could be our ARC, but it doesn't come though as "logical" as a Galaxy imo, and sisnt seem to send as much information, even though SIA 2 and the T was enabled.

I'm going to set one up on the bench for a proper play

I believe for grade 2 systems you still need to signal fault seperately. This can replae power fail if need be.
