July 6, 201510 yr comment_423153 Anyone know much about it? Customer has an existing system, wants the light switches backlight dimming down. Looks like its all registered to the dealer, and therefore locked down? Just want a bit of background before i tell him not interested/cant/dont want to do it Edited July 6, 201510 yr by 9651 Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/38741-control-4-home-automation/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 July 6, 201510 yr comment_423157 I've got a customer with it, it's a pain in the ass They're running a Premier 48 and a Dvr through it with the lighting and audio kit via IPads Everything is dealer based, I looked into it but it's a closed shop so I was informed by them Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/38741-control-4-home-automation/#findComment-423157 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 July 8, 201510 yr comment_423368 Hi guys, interesting topic, we are a registered control 4 dealer - not that we do two much with it - but if you get stuck again with it especially as a lot of dealers stick all manner of security systems (Texecom DVR Cameras) through it then give us a message and happily help you out! PS: Something to watch if you come across it, sometimes the integration with Control 4 and Texecom can cause random CIE faults on the Texecom panel. Where ever possible we don't like putting the intruder alarm through Control 4 especially as most panel manufacturers use apps on smart phones these days anyway.
