If I remember these panels right you have a tamper problem on one of the zones. The panel on board tamper will not reset untill fixed.

Was there any tamper connected to the board? U taken link out? A picture of the wiring if you can.

when the panel came this morning, there was no bidges in the 8 zones. Only 1,2,and 3 zones are been used now. I have replaced all the wiring the same way it came out.  the sparkie used blue/white for the tampers on the wiring and I replaced them

I would start from scratch tbh. All links on tamp then start to connect cables.

Thank you for your advice and I am going to do as you say on Monday, at the back of my mind I knew I should of bridged all zones before starting. but it was 15 years since I fitted one lol
