September 26, 200421 yr comment_24883 I have recently completed an install in a local shop. Part of the install involved providing a glass break sensor (Used IntelliSense FG-1015 units) in each bay window on either side of the front door. There is a shutter on the inside of the front door that is remotely controlled. When the shutter is raised, with the system set, the glass breaks are activating. This happening on both sensors. The Customer needs sensors in the window bays. Can anyone help or come up with an alternative? September 26, 200421 yr comment_24884 Use an octal relay to shunt the break glass's when the remote control is activated. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool. September 26, 200421 yr comment_24899 breff Posted Today, 11:47 AM Fit a contact to the shutter as entry exit, put the glassbreaks on entry route???? That seems like the easiest solution, no point messing about with relays in the shutter controls, believe me you are opening a can of worms! September 26, 200421 yr comment_24921 If the shutters are remote control, the control unit will have a output when the shutter is in operation, use this to trigger a relay and start the entry time, BGU on access route. www.nova-security.co.uk www.nsiapproved.co.uk No PMs please unless i know you or you are using this board with your proper name. September 26, 200421 yr comment_24938 How far away from the windows have you put the gbd ? 24935[/snapback] Peter Approx 9 - 12 inches from the glass. And yes, the shutter is on the inside of the door.
