Galaxy 16 Plus, Users Cant Reset System

Recommended Posts

HI

i Am landlord of rented property with the galaxy plus system in.

I have reset all the system and want the tenant to just have user code access

Strange thing is i can only reset the alarms with the managers password

When user password is inputted after an alarm it says press ent to unset but when pressing ent screen just goes blank and doesnt unset.

When managers password is used to unset system at same point the alarm unsets and reverts back to default screen with time & date.

Trouble is i dont want the end user to have the managers password, i have gone round in circles trying loads of different settings to no avail.

surely it should work as im trying to doit !!  or does it not???

help pls

Anyway back to the point

I have changed access authorizations to allow users to unset system etc

But its just not having it

When their code is inputted its not unsetting , even though their code is authorized

Is there a strange anomally within the programming structure i am missing ?

thanks

sorry should have been a little more clearer

when i enter property and punch in the user code+enter  at mk7 keypad the alarm disarms but the screen on rkp just stays blank .

it is only when i enter the managers code+enter the screen reverts to its normal default screen showing date system version etc

allowing me then to rearm as normal

thanks
