Setting Up Texecom 24 Areas / Part Setting

Featured Replies

Hi ive installed a texecom 24 alarm, with 24 zones and 4 keypads, some zones and one keypad are in an outbuilding which I may wish to set separately to the main house, can someone explain how to set this up, I don't need every keystroke / programming just the basic principle.

Am I correct in thinking this would be different to a part set?

Many Thanks

Andy

Yes

House Area A.

You can still then have a 'part arm' for night set for example.

Outbuildings Area B

Keep the keypads separate to each area, keeps it simple then. Code for the house assigned to area A. Outbuildings area B.

Yes

House Area A.

Outbuildings Area B

Hang on, is this a Premier 24 or a Premier Elite 24.

Elite's have two areas, non-elite this won't be possible.

yes its an elite

Many Thanks for your help and sharing you knowledge :)

One quick not so simple complication

Can I set up the house door keypad so when you arm on leaving the house it sets areas a & b and when you return and disarm it just unsets area a? or am I complicating things?

You gave me the clue already, guess I can set using "area" on keypad set up for A&B and unset with an area a user code just to unset area a

Also look at the local arm and disarm options.
