Its a long range quad element pir, it is better than the average pir you will get with a flood light. But it wont be false alarm immune

The picture takes an age to download can you not make it smaller and paste it here?

You lost me now? Its still the same house, but had garage conversion, hence single garage, car now permanently parked on the drive.

Kingy going by Norms pic you would need one short post. You could put the beam TXer on the corner of the garage, and the Rx on a post one the leading edge of the drive on the garden side
