Model 8EP396A-UK       Wish I'd never decided to try this out, what a nightmare to programme.

 

Problem is, I think I'm sure I've got all the part set zones programmed in now but when I exit engineer mode and enter user code followed by 'P' to select the part sets nothing happens. The panel just carries on setting.

Am I being a total numpty and missing something? Do I have to enable part sets somewhere.

 

Always happens the day before you're due to go on holiday doesn't it?

Is it a gen 4?

if so it has 3 set option after arming and pressing prog you have to select which set you want id suggest 2?

Plus id say its one the easist things in the world to program its quite a basic panel

I know it has three set options, when arming and pressing 'P' = prog nothing happens so I can't select a setting option. You must be one of the few who find this an easy panel to programme as all the reviews I've read are negative.

Have you enabled the setting 2, ie to timed. It is disabled by default.
