Has Anyone Used/installed Teleeye Cctv

Featured Replies

Has anyone used or installed TeleEye DVRS, and if so what do you think?

We used them around 6 years ago on a commercial scale which worked well.  Now just coming back in to the CCTV world (after nearly 6 years) just wondered if anyone has used them on a domestic scale?

We had a few which we remotely monitored swapped them out for Adpros. The CMS software was not the best and used smtp emails via Immix.

The company I used to work for used them for installs for the construction industry.  Rather than having a manned guard on site which would cost them £1000 per week for one guard £2k per week for two guards, our CCTV systems (Teleeye) would be installed and remotely monitored by a company in Leeds for £225 per week for an 8 (static) dome system.  Some sites needed speed domes as the site and shape of was huge.  System seemed to work well.

Just wondered if they had gone into the domestic field and brought down their dvrs in price.

TekeEye is integrated into Sentinel Plus - So most UK ARCs can support it without relying on SMTP via Immix.

The tech contacts i've spoken to seem pretty on the ball and the issues we highlighted were mostly all addressed reasonably quickly.

Wasn't TekeEye the cheap far eastern knock off? :)

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
