Fitting a switch to override gate opening/closing..

 

For those of you with a wiring diagram to hand, am I right to wire the switch between 5 + 9 on the handset side of the A200/N?

Thats rights. Same as pushing button on handset.

I also confirm, short between 5 and 9

The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct!

(Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
