The 6210 fiddle involves purchasing a nokia 6210 off ebay, then a payt sim to your chosen network, then you'll need a uni-com lead from Texecom to connect it all up, panel sees it as a gsm module, saves a fortune on the cost of the texecom gsm module

Neat!

I'll get on with that then - where do I find the wiring details?

I'm also after hooking up the panel to a PC I have running all the time, to log & possibly program via wintex - if I'm doing this in serial, can i make the cable myself?

cheers,

J

Id like some details on that as well Mont.

The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct!

(Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)

So only 1 concern, don't payt sims get disconnected if not used for long periods? I would hope my alarm won't be activated by anyone!!!
