Anyone come across a Wifi or Copper LAN video intercom panel that'll talk directly to an Iphone App??

no, however google does stay there is stuff out there..

Leaves his rear windscreen wiper on-because he can, and puts his tomtom smack bang in the middle of the front screen-obscuring the view of the road, yeh I know the sort.

not an app attached to LAN as such to my knowledge.

iPhone can dial a number from using voice recognition, so 'open door' or 'opensazme' from Siri, can open a garage by dialling a number that go's to a GSM or landline switch.which could open his front door.

SystemQ do have a very good free iPhone app for their Alien DVRSs, a caller could activate a call to the mobile, who could then see a picture of the caller by engaging the app, but there would be some real time time delay.

If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!

For a pro choice you have the following options: 2N Helios, Mobotix, TCS.

For something cheap and DIY there is a project on kickstarter, i can find the link if needed.
