I think you miss the point, the lights on the banks I mentoined are for the entrance doors not any vaults or other secure areas.

More and more jewlers and other precious metals/stones outlets are now using door interlocking as standard.

Because its being used for the other purpose mentioned probably.

We were talking about two methods for the use of the "Traffic Lght" system.

 

And in the local banks the door indicators are behind the window at eye (ish) level.

QFA, Interlock, smokecloak, strobe and MB. After 10 minutes of that they will just shoot their self and have done with it!
