Accenta Beeping Every 10 Mins

Featured Replies

Hi

I think this is relevant.

My alarm was beeping every 10 minutes or so. I assumed it needed a new battery.

I changed the battery on my accenta g3 as it was 5 years old. However it is still beeping whenever it is not in engineers mode. I thought I had to reset the service timer and so pressed 730 reset reset from engineers mode. However this has not worked.

Any ideas anyone? Ring any bell if you excuse the pun.

Dominic

it wont beep every 10 mins. You may have chime on a circuit.

But are you 100% certain its the alarm?

Disconnect battery, turn mains of, wait 10 seconds (outside bell will ring), apply power, connect battery and reset panel.

Check fuses on panel before you do the above.

If this doesn't work as James says its on chime.

I would also make sure your new battery has correct charge in it.

Its a rogue smoke detector or low battery on your new phone you got for Christmas its not your alarm

Forgot about the low battery in the smoke detector. Not had one of them calls in a while!
