Scantronic 9100 Qu.

Featured Replies

Hi, I have looked around for an answer but cannot find one, it maybe that I do not know the correct terminology which is stopping me finding a relvant post. If any kind soul could help it would be much appriciated!

Have an old Scantronic 9100 which I got of ebay for £16. Remember them as a child, Brilliant bit of kit have it installed in a two room garage. Working brilliantly with a new battery. Only have one small programming issue.

On the entry exit room have the door contact on the entry exit circuit, Timed and not on final door set. This works fine.

Also in the entry exit room have a PIR on zone 1 set as entry exit route. When I come in and approach the remote panel to key in the access code, as soon as the PIR zone 1 spots me it sounds an internal buzzer only. I thought to change this it was the part set option 65 enter 1 enter but it does not seemed to have sorted the problem out.

Can anyone kindly advise me how to set the pir on zone 1 so it ignores me when the alarm is counting down once the door is open.

NOTE (why have I got the pir zone 1 covering the door with the contact on it? So that if someone smashes the glass in the door to get in then it will cause an instant alarm state.)

Thanks.

Ben.

there is an enrty route option either enable or diasable this on the zone ?
