Eurotec Cpx Troubleshooting Help Needed!?

Panel can be programmed via the keypad.

PIR's on one system do not have to be identical.

Beware of the system overall current when adding extras to a system.

Also note that to fit two bellboxes on one system, a extra PSU must be used or make one sounder SCB.

If you don't you will overload the PSU in the panel.

The tamper wiring of the first external sounder will need to be in series with the new one.

as above it wont come with the software nor the lead.

Premier is a fine panel and fairly powerful. I prefer the honeywell stuff or hkc but thats personal preference. Nowt wrong with the premier.

Any 12volt dc psu designed for intruder will do. an scb is a self contqinel bell. An sab is a self actuating bell. sab's draw current from your psu to power the strobe and siren, scbs draw current from the battery. your typical sab will draw in excess of 400 mA in full alarm, and your typical domestic panel will be capable of 750 to 1000 mA supply, so 2 sab s will leave you no room for detectors/remote keypads with the one psu. if u fit an extra psu, you must link their 0v connections together.

Any extra alarm power supply unit (PSU) would do.

Normally to save on cost the SCB option would be used.

SAB = Self Activating Bell

SCB = Self Contained Bell

Put basically during normal operation:-

SAB - runs off the panel, SCB - runs off it's own battery.

Two SAB's on one panel will blow the power supply.

Make sure the external sounder you get:-

Has selectable SCB option.

The SCB is compatible with your existing sounder.
