And the camera in my link will automatically focus much better than the camera in your video

You need a macro lens and I'd suggest that spacer is to convert that lens to focus at very short ranges.

Ive just found a Sony FBC-IX11AP in my loft. It looks like it might do the job. Only problem is the focus, its not focusing on what I want it to all the time. It can be controlled via RS232 Visca protocol or it can be controlled by a key pad. The software and keypad are proving hard to find though :(
