Cyberprog Posted April 15, 2011 Share Posted April 15, 2011 The panel just makes a modem connection to the SMS centre and sends a text message using standard commands. *however* as already said, the SMS message centres do change from time to time, and unless you have regular messages & regularly test that it's sending text's ok (i.e. drop it into engineer and out again and check you get texts) you might end up in a situation where you're not notified.
