this unit does look pretty convincing.do you think it would be cheaper to buy control panel with gsm built in or seprate?

You can get the agility in a kit, psnel rkp door contact and some single path pirs, and have the gsm already installed, will do up if fitted with the module

You can have 4 wired zones again needs a module

Whats the speech like?, is it poor like the SD2's. I've tried all different sorts of ways to get a clear message recorded.

You might want to consider using a PSTN dialler with a GSM module like the CellAlarm-GSM.

Ive just bought one from Independant Alarm Supplies for some money , its the CQR Freewave GD-05. Its a crackin piece of kit for the price. It includes listen in if you plug on a mic, its places inside the alarm panel and has an external arial.
