Just got an email from them giving this info.

Blooody dam good bat life if true.

Always found them to tell the truth, so love the product.

Early PM+ they said batts 3 yrs, found 2 to be the limit, but in busy enviroments.

Still rate them as execpetional panels.

Apparantely James Wilson has knowledge of a better one.

Think hes on drugs or someones came up with a totally superb replacement.

Still rate Visonic, got a load out there on my own.

Been looking at the powermax complete, was thinking of going back to them, stop using them maily because of the ugly panel, but the new one looks smart

think the have one of the best detectors as well.

I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.

We have over 200 Visonics, mix of PM+, PM Complete and PM Pro. Never really had any major issues except for the odd defective battery which usually shows within 24 hours of install. Had a couple of faulty bells and some mag contacts. Nothing major for the quantity we have installed. We now set up and bench test each unit for around a week before installation. Don't use the pet immune PIR's (K9 85 MCW) unless really needed, they don't seem to like narrow hallways and may not detect. The non pet Next MCW PIR's are fine though.

Things always need to be improved.

They have made an effort, which others have not.

Although a few are trying to complete.

The panel was as you say ugly, but could be hidden.

Some now want the system to "talk" to them.

Seems Visonic were, are far advanced than others.

I am no way involved with the above mentioned company, just like their ideas.

Not used "MESH" myself but from what I have heard it is a good system. And the way forward.

I still think Visonic is a good and reliable system.

Looking at the Powermaster 10 and all compatible devices on the Visonic website, everything is 2 way which has to be good. Devices have dedicated LED's which tell how good the signal is between them and the control panel which should ease installation. All looks good, but I'll reserve judgement until I have tested one, and seen the price list.

Another reason for visonic is that i read you can have a flashing led in the bell.

shame risco didnt do the same, a flash every couple of seconds or a touch more wouldnt hurt

I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.
