We are doing a quote and i am being informed by the client that another firm has quoted to use a wireless link between the digi and the control panel.

I cant see this is accurate as i cant see it complies, ie standby times, fault reporting etc But i assume its a non compliant product.

Why is the digi away from the panel anyway? or did you mean between the digi and the phoneline?

if the latter it might just be a GPRS pruduct.

The clients was quite clear on it as he doesn't want any wires anywhere not even a tel line. He said the communicator was being fitted by the master socket with the panel in a cupboard. I assume its a non approved Yale / alertme type product. We have quoted a wireless only redcare.
