If I then knew the relative pricing I could make a decision on which to go for. Unfortunately the Pro seems to be trade only so my options are a little difficult to compare (me not being trade). I want to be able to manage and interrogate the alarm remotely (over the internet) and I would like to control lights and other electrical units from the alarm - hence the X-10 requirement. I also want the alarm to dial me and/or my wife and inform of events. I'm reading the installation manuals on the PowerMax site which seem straightforward. PIR placement is my main concern, I just need to do a bit more research on that. simon
