Reset Required?

I would strongly suggest having a professional come and look at your system.

They can reset it and help advise on usage and how the system works. Opening the control panel is not recommended to anyone who is not trained in working with mains electricity.

Should be OK if I turn the mains off I think. Will it be a normal battery, or something difficult to find a replacement for?

The battery will be a sealed lead acid battery, like a small car battery. The site sponsor will supply one as will Screwfix or maplin.

As other have said the box with a keyhole will alomost certainly be a panic button, the key is used to reset it after it's been pushed.

Easy enough to remove the cover and do it manually though if you need to.

Hopefully, you should be able to reset yourself, but it may have engineer reset set up in the menus?? i am not sure as i dont use these panels, but if thats the case, then you will need an engineer

She did try to get an engineer to call, which he promised to do. 2 weeks later after a couple of repeat phone calls she is still waiting. It is quite difficult with her in Cardiff and me in Birmingham. I suppose I will have to try to find an alternative engineer :hmm:
