Lectrician
What is the best detector to use in a swimming pool?? The pool has 3 windows, and some large patio doors, all are coverable from one PIR position. Email : martin@askthetrades.co.uk
Service Engineer
What range will the detector need to cover..? ........................................................ Dave Partridge (Romec Service Engineer)
Lectrician
Furthest window is only 5m away from the preposed PIR position. (its a large room, but all windows and doors are close together in one corner). I was concerned about flase alarms from the heat of the pool, and the heat curtains (heat blowing down all around the perimiter of the room). Also, hte condensaiton getting into the detector. Guest Andyp
Failing that, how about active IR beams? Expensive but virtually false alarm proof if set up correctly. Andy
