I understand there is a windows emulator that can be installed that should allow us to still use our fire panel software... all the usual suspects.....but has anyone ever tried it ?? You will then create a windows machine within your linux etc. Yes i have and do use vmware and run a few win2k3 servers within it. Jonah Posted March 12, 2009 Share Posted March 12, 2009 Under Linux you can install a program called "Wine" this allows certain windows programmes to run using native DLL's etc. Your mileage may vary but it is under constant development and does seem reasonably stable.
