Eurosec Cpx - Accidentally Deleted Master Code

Featured Replies

Please help!

I have a eurosec cpx panel and have accidentally deleted the "master" (user 1) code - i have a "user" (user 2) code that I can use to set/unset the alarm, but can't get to any options. I also don't have the "engineer" code.

Yes - I know I'm a muppet.

Any sensible suggestions, please?

How can I factory reset the system, and when factory reset, what is the default engineer/master/user code, please?

If I get the engineer code (trying to get in touch with the installer) how would i go about recreating a "master" code?

Gratefully appreciate any help available.

Thank you.

Muppet.

you clicked "agree" to these - http://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/Content/rules.asp

this is plastered at the top of every forum page - http://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/comm...;f=113&id=8

with the above in mind you'll understand me saying -

Sorry but we do not provide defaulting information or codes on this forum.

My advice would be to get the system serviced/reprogrammed by a reputable local company.

cheers

As per KKA-the system shouldn't allow the master code to be deleted-no matter what!-cos it knows it's/you are stuffed without it!-if you have changed it by mistake or whatever unfortunately it will have to be reset by an engineer.

The installer-if reputable-will not give his engineer code, unless it doesn't affect his 'security'-know what I mean!
