russandsu
Hello, had a power cut tonight alarm went off during which I expected, but now power is back on the white light is flashing on the outside box. The keypad is not letting me input my code - seems like it has timed out. Rang company who said that could be a blown fuse - I can get hold of 1A fuses, but how do I access the unit without it ringing all bells - thinking I am tampering with it? thanks for any suggestions... james.wilson
you cant, if its set then it will activate the bell when you touch it. If it isnt then the internals will go. If its on a contract then id call them back and say you need an engineer securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. jasonadt
there is no internal fuses on a scantronic panel and it is likely your standby battery is depleted and your panel has defaulted back to factory default settings and that is why your code does nothing, Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/26114-9448-locked-out-after-power-cut/#findComment-219642 Share on other sites
breff
there is no internal fuses on a scantronic panel and it is likely your standby battery is depleted and your panel has defaulted back to factory default settings and that is why your code does nothing, 9448+ has 3 internal fuses IIRC, AC, 12v Aux and Battery. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not) Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/26114-9448-locked-out-after-power-cut/#findComment-219649 Share on other sites
