I don't want to state the obvious but I would read the manual, you should find out all you want to know there.

you will most likely need a static IP for a commercial system.

i have set a DM D4 up with worlwide access, using DYNDNS you can still use a dynamic IP and your router updates the service with the new IP everytime it changes. you do need som networking knowledge but im no expert and managed it.

iv just fitted 4 way cctv card to my comp all works great stores on to hard drive

but wldnt have the first idea how to get it over the net

cant someone do us a little downloadable peice to sort all us thickos out lol

be careful with those, most use a pirated version of the software and stabilty isnt a strong point. Unless its a geovis or soemthing similar of course

Theres a few out there, were currently using the Samsung 5040 or something like that it works well, also the teleeye but its awkward at times

also is that possibly an everyday machine ie not a dedicated machine as if it gets stolen also go away your images!!
