May 18, 200818 yr comment_197947 Hi, I'm considering buying a Texecom Premier system for a domestic DIY install (after Nova-security's recommendation in an earlier post). I see some of the higher end keypads come with optional proximity tags to arm/disarm. On first thought this seems a daft idea since if someone gets a hold of my keys he can unlock the doors and deactivate my system. But is it possible to combine this with a code so you need to swipe the proximity tag AND enter a PIN? The reason I ask is because I'm looking to buy the Texecom Premier kit available online at alertelectrical.com for Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/23292-texecom-premier-proximity-tag-question/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 May 18, 200818 yr comment_197952 Not 100% sure but I think if you select the option of 'dual code' on the programmed fob and the programmed code, it will require the fob and code. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not) Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/23292-texecom-premier-proximity-tag-question/#findComment-197952 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
