In all honesty your not going to learn alot about security getting a P.I.R to turn on a bulb! However it can be done, but you need to have an understanding of some electronics, all you will basicly be doing is using the P.I.R to pull in a relay that will in turn put a voltage across your bulb! If i get chance some time today i will draw you a diagram, but a good idea would be to pop along to maplin and buy a book called "Basic Electronics" Or somthing along those lines. cheers
