Thanks for taking the time to read my post, I have recently had quite a big extension on my house and have every possible access point covered by PIR, however i had a recent break in whilst i was in China and although the alarm went off and the autodialler called me, the Sh!ts still go away with about 3 grands worth of stuff.

I was just wondering if there was something on the market were i could expand my current Challenger Excel 8 panel with a wireless expander and included wireless vib contacts and other devices to my current system.

Can anyone help please and point me in the right direction

Sorry to hear of your misfortune, I would consider a layered approach if you hadn't already, i.e, if practicable trim, prune trees, hedges etc, install security lighting, good locks and window gates to vulnerable points of entry if possible, intruder alarm connected to a monitoring station will a response, it must have been frustrating to receive a call in china to say your alarm had activated!!!

obviously i'm very sorry you had this bad experience, to prevent further ones you need to have a specialists call and advise as to how best to protect yourself.

no alarm system installed in the uk (apatt form perhaps secret installations owned by the goverment) can physically prevent an intrusion, so the best we can hope for is an early deterrent by noise so a quick exit reducing the subsequent loss or damage - sorry man traps are illegal or that paragraph could easily be rendered inaccurate .

it's a sad fact, having broke in very successfully once, and in spite of your system, they may well come back after the insurance have paid for all the nice new shiny gear, having made you claim your insurance co may now insist of a pro instal so i would hold back if i were you for a while.

there are devices called smoke generators (smoke cloak) which fill the area with thick non toxic fog like vapour in seconds once tripped, so if you can't see it you can't steel it is tyhe way that works, but if they fall over you sleeping gaurd dog, they may sue you for damages .
