Wireless Pir's

Featured Replies

Is it possible to mix and match wireless PIR's between systems? Somebody I was getting a quote off said he cound incorporate Honeywell IRX800GY PIR's into a non Honeywell eg Scantronic Homelink 75 installation.

there is a certain amount of inter-connectivity,

stand alone receiver interfaces are offered by many manufacturers such as Visonic Scantronic etc. which then allow hard wired connection of radio kit to wired panels.

you will not be able to program (in most cases) manufacturer A's pir to manufacturer B's receiver (or radio panel).

No you cant

why not ?? separate receiver link to one of the 2 hard wired zones on the home link 75 not cost effective but don't see why it wouldn't work ??
