I had a call of a sort of friend who thinks he is an engineer, he was asking me why he had to go round all the PA buttons in this house to set the alarm off........ He had wired them all in paralel!

lucky he did a test then.....imagine this, somebody puts a gun in yor face, you discretly hit the pa button then spend the next three hours wondering why armed response has not arrived. :unsure:

Seen this done before but with door contacts, all in phone cable too! You do get them don't you! :rolleyes:

i had same thing with two sensors on same zone which was bad enough, but to find them wired in parallel was beyond belief. :no:
