I was pretty well done by the time i'd answered all those questions. System was one 6 core to bell, one 8 core to all PIRs and door.

Passives zone linked to 12v and 1 wire return. Break in the -ve aux feed to all the PIRs in the plaster.

always makes me wonder why such 'shortcuts' are ever done? if you got to get a cable there why not do it right in the first place.

anyway well done, and showed 'us' in a good light imo.

Incidentally Chris,

The bell box doesnt sound, although it has power (the LED is flashing) when the internal alarm goes off, neither does it work on the self-test. Maybe you could take a nother look when you have the battery and internal sound bomb ready.
