i dont trust em...granted you get a nice ambient temp reading etc...but its the 'increased battery sales' jargon sales c**p that says it all for me...use your judgement if the battery is going to last or not,i mean a 3-4yr batt is not gonna be as good as a new batt but that doesnt mean its not a good batt,and by dragging the ass out of a 3yr batt with a tester of course its gonna have a low reading..

Make yourself a drop tester, they give a much better indication of true battery condition.

just to confirm how this works,

1) you get said battery.

2) for testing you suspend in your left hand appx 4ft above clients foot.

3) if it's good it will have enough guts in it to swerve and miss clients foot

4) or if duff run like heck as you now know the meaning of 'flat feet'.

5) if very flat then you have an example of 'fallen arche's.

Pull the mains off when you do the other tests and watch the bassa with ya meter, if it dips and its past 3 yrs bin it.

hi OH,

we are showing our vintage, this was a standard test, only difference for me was to attach meter, and sound external sirens for a load test.

calibrated meters? pah they are for cissy's
