Nvt Telemetry Down Coax

Featured Replies

I have fitted a camera nearly 500m away from controls and wired cat5 for NVT. I have a normal transmitter and passive reciever. Can I send the telemetry down the coax as usual or is it best to use spare cores for ptz controls, wired direct.

From what i've read in the instructions it states it can do up to 300m with normal nvt convertor ether end.

The camera is not a dome but a proper ptz baxall reciever/camera/controls

Thanx

Chris

The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct!

(Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)

Thanx breff but ive been given one of these http://www.nvt.com/products/NV_452R.html at one end and one of these http://www.nvt.com/products/NV_214AM.html at the camera end.

The link u found was for using a nv214am at either end
