Hi, having recently done my flat up i've just been burgled.

I'm to install a new alarm system but can only afford to spend the minimum. I want to go wireless if poss, but want it to work reliably. Have read other posts on wireless - opinion seems to be that visonic is not so good (but have pet immune pirs) Scantronic is ok (but no good as not pet immune) Some have recommended guardtec. I have looked at the 595 on their website - is it possible to buy these if you're not trade?

Has anyone any thoughts?

I live in a two story flat with two entrances and some patio doors. I need two door contacts 4 pirs and two keypads. must have an external bell.

this is exactly what i hate being in this trade!

it is like selling a coffin to a victim of murder/kill/accident.

he wants a coffin made of nonplaned board whereas his relatives would like to see something more honourable..

i went to check my coffin just few days ago while i _tried_ to reserve "an earthing point" next to a church and a problem I have is that if i should have black or red coffin.. Im gonna have a supervised comms line in my coffin so that everyone at the ARC's can follow my burial. They'll receive an inertia alarm when sand is thrown on my coffin etc.. last messages to the arc would be battery low and line lost.

Thanks for your comments. Will go for the powermax, I like the idea it will turn my tv and lights on and off aswell - that seems to be the real defence.

As for the coffin, I shall order a cardboard one and sell the idea to my relatives that i'm looking after the environment. If they want it to look more expensive maybe they can add some fake brass handles?

Perhaps I will put a snazzy professional looking sticker on my bell box.

Now I just have to work out how to fit the damn thing. so the red wire.......?

Yes its red to red,black to black and blue too pieces and as for the All Done Tempoarily bell boxes i would'nt even bother
