Yes it's the range of the damn thing that lets it down...company brought it some 2 years ago(they may have got better but it looks the same) and the stupid bloody thing struggled to send a tone down a bit of cable that was only about 30 feet long.It also would'nt pick up the tone on the cable that was trapped behind a bit of dry lining...it has rattled around the boot of the car ever since....save your money mate
