I think we'll bring this to a conclusion chaps .....

Yes there is a 3-way 'Euro Type' fused terminal block, BUT on the control panel side only the live and neutral are wired .... ie no earth to the transformer

Hence I have connected the mains earth to what amounts to a spare terminal ....... PHEW!!

you bother with a cpc on the flex? used 2092Y or 2093Y

or the FCU? could you be bothered to connect an earth incoming or exiting the FCU

you got FCU? Fused Connection Unit? switched / unswitch fuse value cable size?

And for the record, as you couldn't be bothered to explain, 2092Y and 2093Y are 2-core and 3-core PVC flex (circular heat-resistant to BS6141). :ranting:
