ispy Posted August 9, 2006 Share Posted August 9, 2006 A mate had bought a house, been in it about 6 months and his Gardtech alarm panel is displaying "lock out".I have tried a factory reset but its not reset the engineers code. I have tried removing the link on the main board but because the engineers code has been locked, it will not re set. Does anyone know a way to unlock the engineers code so I can re program the panel for him Thanks I think you mean gardtec 800 and if so its nothing to do with 9 in the code in the programming you can specify engineers code to be locked out. it sounds like this is what the previous installer has done. in this case you will either need to send back the board to the manufacturers whom are in oldham DO NOT POST DEFAULTING INFORMATION in the public forums ve hav ze nolij or if not we ask!!!!
