Panic Buttons?

Featured Replies

Can you have panic buttons with police response without having a proper intruder alarm?

Depends on the application and the requirements of the user, some companies will install a panic button system based on a intruder alarm controls/signalling.

What do you think of the intellilink?

http://www.initialcommunitycare.co.uk/intellilink.html

If this is the one you are on about, I dont see how it would comply with the current requirements for Police response and there is no mention of Initial Community care being NSI or SSAIB approved. That said the site is very general and would require further information before forming a full opinion, for example Initial Fire and Security are NSI approved and fit approved Police signalling systems and both are part of the same company.

Guess you will need to look carefully at what you are being offered before making a choice.

It would appear the Intellilink is just a nurse\warden call system.

For police response you will need more than a plastic box with a button on it.

What are you wanting to do with this, think we're all guessing here as you are being a bit vague.
